The captain of this team is undoubtedly the little master sachin tendulkar.Even though sachin has played just one 20-20 match everyone out there know his potential to deliver. So this little master with his amazing talent of scoring fast runs will be very handy for the team in the championship.Another big hitter in this team from srilanka, Sanath Jayasurya too has the potential to hit biggies in 20-20 format.Sanath along with Sachin is considered to be the most dangerous opening pair.
Star of 20-20 world cup for India Robin Uthappa will be the back bone of the middle order. He has already proved his ability in 20-20 match and surely (...)is an important member for the team.South African all-rounder Shaun Pollock is the best all-rounder of this time and his presence will surely build confidence among the younger players in the team.Bowling department is o.k type with lankiness pacer malinga,Fernando and shaun Pollock and also ashish nehra. Harbajan singh will add strength to the bowling department with his magical deliveries in the Indian pitches.
Leaving aside the big guns, you also have some young kids on the block like Pinal Shah, who is a specialist wicket keeper and a middle order batsman though has opened occasionally and Saurabh Tiwary, a south paw and a member of the world cup winning U19 team. Also you have Ajinkya Rahane, who is an all rounder, Abhishek Nayar who is a bowler who can bat too and Yogesh Takawale, who is one more candidate for wicket keeping position.Overall this team is well balanced to be a formidable opponent.
